After successfully completing the mass excavation phase, our team of skilled finish operators will leverage their extensive decades-long expertise, augmented by cutting-edge technological advancements, to meticulously lay, compact, and finely grade the material according to the precise specifications mandated by the project requirements. This intricate process, meticulously guided by years of collective knowledge and refined techniques, ensures the utmost precision and quality in every aspect of material placement and compaction, resulting in a finished product that not only meets but exceeds the expectations set forth by the project's specifications and standards.

For smaller projects that require more agility, DCG will deliver a skid steer outfitted with a grading implement to blade, compact, and exit smaller pad sites in shorter time than it would take to mobilize in with all the equipment necessary to deliver a compacted pad using more cumbersome traditional methods.

For larger sites, DCG combines skilled operators, machine control, and 250 horsepower motor graders to match the finished product to the design specifications on the proposed civil drawings. Our civil crews mobilize to the job site and excavate to the design elevation. Once the rough grading is achieved within tolerance, we can perform a variety of soil stabilization methods. Utilizing our Wirtgen mixer enables us to place lime and cement at precise ratios for improving soil strength. Experienced supervisors ensure subgrades are moisture conditioned and compacted to laboratory optimum values before fine grading to exacting specifications.
